MPS Scholars Mentors

Become a Mentor!

Mentors play an essential role in helping students navigate the math and physical sciences (MPS) at Berkeley and beyond.  A supportive network of faculty, staff, students, and alumni can make all the difference in the experience of students in MPS majors. Through the MPS Scholars division-wide effort, we provide numerous opportunities to foster positive relationships between mentors and mentees.

Time Commitment & Expectations

Mentors are expected to engage with their mentees, in 1-on-1 and group meetings, and attend training sessions, check-ins, and events as needed. Mentors will also be asked to track their meetings with mentees.
